The Awards were based on the Clubs Incentive scheme, the purpose of which is to further recognize members for their efforts in achieving personal goals and in helping the club to achieve distinguished club status.

In the incentive scheme members have equal opportunity to earn points for attendance, early attendance, making manual speeches, performing meeting roles, accepting and presenting table topics, bring new guests to meetings and sponsoring new members and paying dues on time.

 

The awards to be presented today are:

Best Performance - attendance, meeting roles, membership building, Speaker of the Year, New CTM’s, new CL’s, the Fitz Husbands Award and the Toastmaster of The Year.

Fitz H Husbands

The Fitz H. Husbands Award is a special communication and leadership award sponsored by DTM Fitz Husbands of the USA. This Award is to be presented to a club member who meets the following eligibility criteria.

A Toastmaster in active standing with the Club; Has been a member of the Club for at least one (1) year; Has completed the Basic Communication and Leadership Program Manual; Has held position as a Club Officer for at least one (1) term; Has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability
