The land of the flying fish

Barbados is the most easterly of the islands of the Caribbean. situated at Longitude 13.2 North, and Latitude 59.4 East. It offers almost perfect weather year round. Since we are located in the tropics the weather is just about the same all year round. Our average temperature is between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, and we get just enough rain to keep the island looking green and beautiful. Hence there are two seasons as the average 'Bajan' would say. These are 'Wet' and 'Dry'. The horseshoe shape of our country is seen in the map below.
